AUDITS

The word audit is derived from a Latin word “audire”, which means “to hear”. An audit is a systematic and independent investigation carried out by an auditor. During an audit, an auditor examines whether the company meets criteria in a standard on the basis of objective evidence. This evidence can consist of documents, registrations, information from interviews, The Marcam audit team evaluates and formulates and then issues an opinion based on the findings, which is communicated via the audit report.
